About Dr. Erica

Dr. Erica, known as drericaandyou, is a seasoned professional with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Northern Illinois University and has dual licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Iowa.

She founded Clinical Expressions, P.C., LifeWorks Training & Consultation, L.L.C.,

and Holistic Aromatherapy, where she combines her expertise in counseling and

coaching with holistic approaches like essential oils, aromatherapy, and alternative methods.

She has 19 years of experience in clinical settings and 12 years of experience in higher

education. She specializes in self-awareness, reducing imposter beliefs, relationship

coaching, diversity, equity, inclusive practices, and purpose-driven development. She

also shares her insights through the 'Year of (Y.O.U.)' newsletter/blog, focusing on mental

and physical well-being strategies.
