Upcoming Y.O.U.

We spent the first three installments discussing self-awareness. Building a better understanding of yourself can unlock vast opportunities for personal growth and set the foundation of your journey.

Now that you have some tools available to continue your practice of self-awareness, you might be wondering where you’re going. Let's take a break and discuss the outline for upcoming blogs.

Resilience, Boundaries, and Self-Care

First, remember the purpose of your self-awareness: To kick off your journey of self-transformation. You’ve already realized there are some aspects of your life that need to be explored, reviewed, and maybe even regulated. As you determine who you really are, and what makes you who you are, you should also consider the traits and behaviors that motivate you, as well as the ones that stifle or frustrate you (or others). This introspection will reveal vulnerabilities or triggers as well as your resilience, and collectively will help determine how you should routinely practice self-care.

Self-care is the result of you reflecting on those self-discoveries and preparing your body and mind to heal itself naturally and without interruption or interference. Healing then leads to growth, as you shed behaviors and traits that you deem undesirable and free up space for you to embrace new experiences as part of your transformative process.

Unmasking the Impostor

With the growing sense of self that goes beyond outward appearances, we'll investigate the core of who are you - pondering the questions:

Who are you?

What do you truly need and want?

                                                         What are your values?

                                                                                      What motivates you?

                                                                                                                What keeps you going?

Learning how to turn inward and appreciate oneself is a crucial step in personal growth. In this issue, we’ll delve into the process of unmasking the impostor within us. We’ll explore recognizing our strengths and areas for growth, making changes aligned with our true selves, and moving away from survival mode by adopting healthy coping styles and practicing self-compassion. Through this transformative exploration, we’ll embark on a journey of self-acceptance and authentic living.

Identifying our authentic desires will propel us forward, giving us clarity and motivation. Along this path, we'll encounter challenges that test our resilience, pushing us to establish boundaries and prioritize self-care.
